I have over four years of experience working with children ranging from 6 weeks to 10 years old in a variety of educational and caregiving settings. My journey began in high school, where I worked as a teacher’s aide and developed a passion for supporting students’ learning and growth. Afterward, I became a teacher at a daycare, gaining hands-on experience in early childhood education. While attending college, I worked as a nanny for two years, further strengthening my skills in childcare and individualized attention. Most recently, I returned to working in a daycare setting, where I continue to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for young learners.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning and engaging in child-led activities that let kids explore their own interests and creativity. I also enjoy spending time outdoors with children, whether it’s playing, learning, or exploring nature. Being outside—rain or shine—is one of my favorite ways to help kids grow, discover, and have fun.
My experience with special needs children...
I earned my Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) certification while in high school and renewed it once I turned 18, allowing me to continue developing my skills in supporting children’s unique needs. During high school, I gained valuable experience by helping out in the special needs classroom, where I learned the importance of patience, individualized support, and creating inclusive learning environments. In my daycare roles, I also took on the responsibility of developing action plans for children, tailoring activities and strategies to support their growth and development. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in both structured care and specialized support.
