A little bit about me

I grew up in Fullerton and spent my sophomore year of college in England, focused on philosophy and the humanities. My love for tutoring came about in middle school at Beechwood Elementary, where I did my IB MYP diploma.

At Troy High School in the Tech Program, I continued tutoring students at Laguna Road Elementary School.

At CSUF's Honors Program, I have now begun to pursue another degree in Anthropology. I aspire to go to law school.

As for child care, I have babysat children, teens, and infants of all ages on and off for the past 6 years since I have more time to work alongside studying.

Both my father and mother have worked in the educational sphere as a school psychologist and child development specialist/special aide. I have most recently sat for 8 and 11 year old boys, a 9 year old girl, in addition to a slew of tutoring jobs with children ranging from 4th grade to high school seniors. I currently have a nanny job with 5 month old and 3 year old girls.

I have most recently worked with tutoring a 13-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl in their respective curriculums. Right now, I do weekly tutoring sessions with a 15-year-old boy on the spectrum, helping him complete his homeschool lessons.

The most important part about being a nanny...

when I was playing farm bingo with a 3-year-old, and she very quickly picked up my mannerisms of frustration when I drew the same card twice. Very cute and funny!
