I am a student working towards a psychology degree. I found I really like working for clients with special needs. I started out helping adults at a day program, then I moved to a in home setting, assisting with cleaning, going out to the park and other day trips. I also did medication management, cooking, and, in some cases, overnight monitoring. I have transitioned now to working with children and youth.
I enjoy working with them, talking to them, and listening to how they see and experience the world. I find it to be the most gratifying experience in the world.
