From age 13-15 I was a volunteer summer camp counselor. I cared for a group of kids for 1-3 days at a time.
During my first year of college, I babysat an 8 year old. I often made his meals and always put him to bed.
I have been babysitting for my 3 sisters since age 17. I've cared for my nieces and nephews since they were new borns! Two of them are 6, two are 3, and the other 2 are 1 and 2. My time with them has made me confident in feeding/changing/nap routines, potty training, meal prep, tutoring, calmly resolving conflict/confusion, and finding creative educational activities.
