I am CPR and First Aid certified. And I have an extensive childcare career I can summarize for you:
When I was 11yrs old I began babysitting. At 13yrs old I started working in my churches daycare. At 15yrs old I was an after school care counselor and continued that all through high school. All through college I did most of my studies online at night and nannied for a couple lovely family’s during the day. When I graduated I moved to Lubbock Texas to be The Curriculum Creator for the YWCA where I made enriching curriculum for over 1,000 students in the Lubbock area. Since moving back home after covid I have been primarily working as a substitute teacher, but have grown weary of the daily change of scenery. I would like something more consistent and rooted in helping children grow.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My major in College was Children’s Development and it is still a sincere passion of mine. All children are born with special skills and interests that help them grow! What works for one child might not work for the other... But that diversity is such a beautiful thing and I believe should be celebrated! Some of my favorite activities to do with kids include:
Play time outside to help them connect to Mother Nature
Pretend playtime to help them develop a knack for storytelling
Reading books together to help them grow a love for learning
STEM projects to help them understand the importance of science
Arts&crafts to help them express their creative expression
