More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat children from newborn to 13 years old. The most experience I have is from my niece and nephew, they are twins. There have been numerous times when I have stayed overnight and watch them throughout the day.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

with the approval of the parent(s) I would take the children to a nearby play ground to burn off some energy or if they would rather stay indoors we could do arts and crafts or play some card games. I know how to keep children preoccupied with activities such as playing the game “just dance”, playing tennis, and badminton with them, playing board games, teaching them some Spanish, and helping them with their homework. I want them to have the best experience when they are with me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Listening to the child, being responsible and respectful are the most important when you are a nanny. I understand for some children it is scary being away from their parent(s) or for pre-teens annoying having a babysitter that's why while I'm there I try my best to provide children with the best experience, while making sure to follow the parents rules.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a babysitter is when I took a 6 year old little girl to an indoor trampoline park and got to jump around with her, we spent a lot of time racing (of course she won) but when it was time for us to leave I had to run (or I should say jump) after her because she didn’t want to go. It’s one of those “you had to be there moments” because it was funny.
