A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Christina — a certified teacher, mom of four amazing kids (now extremely successful in their 20's), and experienced caregiver with a lifelong love for working with children. When my kids were young, I ran a licensed in-home daycare, creating a nurturing, safe space filled with learning, laughter, and love. I bring that same heart-centered approach to nannying today. With a strong background in education (Head Start to college age) and child development, I offer age-appropriate activities, calm structure, and genuine connection. I believe in supporting each child’s unique spirit while helping them grow with confidence and joy. I’ll be relocating to Michigan soon and am looking for a part or full-time nanny position with a family who values trust, open communication, and kindness. Whether it’s reading stories, exploring outdoors, or navigating the rhythms of daily life, I’m here to help your little ones feel safe, seen, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel truly seen, heard, and valued. It’s about building trust — with both the child and the family — and nurturing each child’s unique personality, curiosity, and confidence. A nanny isn’t just a caregiver, but a steady, supportive presence in a child’s everyday life. Whether it’s through play, learning, or quiet moments of connection, I believe the most meaningful impact comes from showing up with kindness, patience, and genuine care every single day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a son who is high functioning autistic. I have a daughter who required two brain surgeries and years of one-on-one care and recovery. I also taught special education students.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I could go on and on with amazing memories of times with my own children, those I took care of, and my students. I had four children of my own and probably would have had more if possible. I absolutely loved being a mother, a childcare provider, a teacher, a mentor, and I cannot wait to be a grandmother. I have so much love to give!
