The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel truly seen, heard, and valued. It’s about building trust — with both the child and the family — and nurturing each child’s unique personality, curiosity, and confidence. A nanny isn’t just a caregiver, but a steady, supportive presence in a child’s everyday life. Whether it’s through play, learning, or quiet moments of connection, I believe the most meaningful impact comes from showing up with kindness, patience, and genuine care every single day.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a son who is high functioning autistic. I have a daughter who required two brain surgeries and years of one-on-one care and recovery. I also taught special education students.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I could go on and on with amazing memories of times with my own children, those I took care of, and my students. I had four children of my own and probably would have had more if possible. I absolutely loved being a mother, a childcare provider, a teacher, a mentor, and I cannot wait to be a grandmother. I have so much love to give!
