My experience with special needs children...

I'm very good at adjusting to needs & individual personalities. If your little one has special needs, I'm capable of learning as I go & giving you support with patience & cheerfulness.

● Babysat for a 7 year old autistic boy (high
functioning.)
● Cared for a mentally disabled adult & also for a physically disabled adult. Both had conditions where they remain at the level of a child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Kids always seem to enjoy my engaging personality & cheesy sense of humor. It's been a great way to connect with them & that just really warms my heart. It also paves the way to be able to relate on more meaningful levels... the moments when they open up, need some comfort, kissing of booboos, or a little encouragement. So for me, it's a joy to build relationships with children. And if I hear them ask when I'll be back again, that's it, I'm a puddle, lol.
