Making sure the child’s needs are well taken care of. And helping in any way you can. Making sure homework is done first before playing.
My experience with special needs children...
10 yrs of experience. I love working with the less fortunate kids but enjoy the middle to high schoolers the most, preferably not in wheelchairs as I have had strokes in the past and can’t lift them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I know the child has accomplished something is a great moment. I used to make friends with the students parents and I would pick up this one girl and take her to a class to do some exercises and fun activities. Was great seeing her so happy.
