Like many I grew up in a large family. As a teen and young adult I took care of my disabled sister, nieces and nephews as well as volunteered at a learning center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. I did attend Lock Haven University for a short amount time for Early Childhood and Special Education. Although I did not finish it did remain a passion of mine.
