The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids are always safe and most importantly having fun. Making sure that you always try and find ways to make your stay enjoyable for them. Making sure that your trying to understand them and nurture them in the best ways. First and foremost, it also important to always follow any instructions the parents have given so you reach expectations for not only the kids but the parents as well.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with only one special needs child which is from my church in the childrens ministry I work in. She is almost 4 years old and her parents have put their trust in me greatly of taking care of her despite of how many kids are in the class. I am not fully experienced but I do know how to calm them down when they are having an episode, how to be aware of certain instructions and follow them strictly, and how to schedule times of medicines or foods they need to take.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favourite nanny moments are when they finally cozy up to me and see me as a friendly person. When they are finally having fun and laughing, it's so memorable and heartwarming!
