Yes, I have recently volunteered to help with special needs children. It was something that I had already been prepared for, only because I’ve had to take care of my nephew; who is also special needs. So the entire experience was great.

Most people would find it boring, but I love just sitting there and talking to them. A child’s mind has no limits, and the things that they be thinking are very interesting. Another thing I love to do with the kids, is going to the park. Being able to see them have fun, is just the main goal.

The most important part about being a nanny to me, is being able to make a difference in the children’s lives. Taking care of them, and seeing them grow up, brings nothing but joy to me.

My favorite nanny moment, would have to be on the last day of me taking care of my previous clients (babies). As I was getting ready to leave, one of the littles ones comes to me; and grabs a hold of my pants and says,”Please don’t leave, you’re apart of our family”. I will never forget that moment.
