A little bit about me

Hi there my name is Citalli. I’m new to the Colorado Springs area and I’m looking for my next family. I was with my previous family for 4 years and had the privilege of caring for two sweet girls, 6yrs and 3 months old at the time of hire. Now they are 10yrs and 4yrs old. My duties included bottle feeding, introduction to solid foods, light housekeeping anything to do with baby. I was also on laundry duty for both girls. School pick ups were also a part of my duties as well as after school activities. I pride myself in following parental lead in parenting and make sure we have clear communication of expectation from myself and the families I work with.

About me. I’m an animal lover and currently have 2 Great Pyrenees pups, 4 cats, a gecko, and a bearded dragon. I love going out on walks as well as reading. I like to think I’m pretty outgoing and fun.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked for an after school program. My classroom consisted of 25 first and second graders. Duties included lesson plans, recess, lunch, homework help. Like a regular school day but after school.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going out on walks. Playing with their toys or just running around the house. Dancing to some music. There’s always something to do.
On the educational side we listen to age appropriate songs and learn the sounds and letters in the alphabet.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing for me as a nanny is that the kids feel loved and safe in my care. That they know if they call me or run to me for safety or help and that’s exactly what they will get. My references can attest to this. I sometimes go more momma bear than mom. Lol

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for a 5 year old with autism for 3 years. Routine was our biggest thing. Giving him a count down before moving on to the next thing in the routine was crucial for smooth transition. I worked loosely with their ABA therapist as they would come to the home and get us all involved.
