I am autistic, and also did some shadow work in a special needs elementary class when I was still an education major. I also helped supervise a Night to Shine prom where I was paired with a highschool girl with down syndrome. I have experience working with a wide range of disabilities, including autism, adhd, CP, fetal alcohol syndrome, shaken baby syndrome, and down syndrome, etc., including wheelchair users.
