During my high school years I was a special needs caregiver for two different young ladies. I enjoyed caring for their every need such as, feeding, bathing and anything that they possibly needed. Then later I cared for two more individuals with special needs. I loved these jobs because I saw the incredible value in each one of them. I truly enjoyed loving them and getting to know each of them individually.

The most important part about being a nanny...
While taking care of a non verbal young lady, I had the opportunity to love and encourage her. She was resting and I was sitting near. As I leaned towards her she grabbed my shirt and grinned very big. My heart swelled and I began to sing “Give me Jesus!” It was such a sweet, memorable moment for us both.
