My name is Clara Hughes and I am a sophomore at the U of A! I am on the pre-law track and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma! I am originally from a small town north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and moved here for college. I have my CPR certification, Red Cross lifeguard certification, and boating license from working at Camp Ozark over the summer on Lake Crew. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at Camp Ozark on Lake crew. This meant that I worked every day from 6:30 AM to 6 PM driving a cabin of kids around on a boat teaching them to wakeboard and wake surf. I would also take care of children ages six months to four years old during church service. I have also babysat for many families at home and in this area whenever they need someone.

I really enjoy doing anything that the child has fun doing. I was all state for soccer in Louisiana so I love playing soccer with them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing to me about being a nanny is that the kids see me as a light in their life and a positive influence! I also like to make sure that I am an aid to the parents in anyway possible just to make their lives a little bit easier.
