A little bit about me

I am a Trained Postpartum Doula. As a doula, my role is to support and care for a family with newborns by teaching baby-related skills and supporting the parents and infants, as well as being an extra pair of hands. Doula work also includes night work where I would work with the parents overnight and help them sleep while I take care of the babies, and simultaneously provide baby-related guidance as desired. I am CPR Certified for infants and adults and have previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant working at a hospital for a year where I floated to many units, including the postpartum unit. My role is non-medical but I do have a medical background. I also volunteered in the NICU as a nursing volunteer at UCLA Ronald Reagan Hospital where I worked with newborn and premature babies. I have experience working with twin infants as I was a live-in nanny for about a year.
