I worked for the Palmdale school district as a campus supervisor for 4 years and supervising children along with making them feel safe and providing a fun and educational environment and being around them was the sole reason of my job. To provide safe supervision of students in the cafeteria during meal periods (lunch) and while on the playground or other designated areas during non-instructional times before and after school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am HUGE on fun and crafts my least favorite phrase will always be "I am bored." I love reading to kids, making fun crafts, watching movies (if they'll sit through it) haha and drawing and coloring is always my go to!
The most important part about being a nanny...
like i have mentioned before i have never been an official nanny but have worked and been around kids for as long as i can remember. the most important thing to me when it comes to kids is that making them feel comfortable and building a relationship were a child can come to you in need is KEY I am a strong believer that there is no such thing as a bad child. only a misunderstood child.
My experience with special needs children...
while working at the school district i did work with special needs kids as a temporary one on one SED aid and it was a GREAT experience however it wasn't my official job title. i do also have a godson who is autistic which at time can be challenging but not impossible to work with.
