I’m a very open minded and calm person. I’m often told that I give people a sense of feeling at home and comfort; the type of person that animals and children are drawn to because they know I have a genuine heart and soul. I work hard and pay great attention to detail, approaching everything methodically and with intentional care. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In my late teens/early 20s, I was a nanny for a few different families for extended periods of time. I also have a younger brother that I cared for growing up. I’ve just moved out of the city and into the suburbs for a calmer setting, and would love to be a part time nanny for the summer.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything creative or that fuels their heart. Whatever special interests or things that make your child feel seen and happy! I specifically love park/outdoor time, any type of craft, easy/fun cooking they can help with, just chatting about whatever they are interested in.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing is of course safety, but insuring that the child knows they are safe in all aspects. Safe to be themselves, to communicate what they are feeling, to know they are supported. Children’s minds can be shaped so quickly and it’s important to not try and mold what you think they should be, rather let them tell you who they are and then create the space for them to thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A child I cared for came out to me that they were trans. Not in those words with not knowing that terminology yet, but they knew who they were and it was a very beautiful moment within itself, but also that they felt comfortable enough with me to express that deep inner knowing of their true self.
