A little bit about me

My name is Colleen, I am a mother to 2 wonderful children (ages 3 years and 4 months). I have over 13 years of experience in childcare. Becoming a mother has made me a more patient, loving caregiver. My favorite and preferred age group are infants. We play such an important role in babies’ lives as they develop in their first years. I practice gentle parenting, I know basic baby sign, developmental milestones, safe sleep practices and breastmilk and formula bottle preparation. We would enjoy time outside, arts and crafts, sensory activities, reading and singing! I am an EEC certified teacher (infant, toddler, preschool), I am a certified medical assistant, I am BLS, first aid and CPR certified. I am happy to provide a full resume with excellent references. My daughter is in daycare, my son would need to accompany me. If you are open to it, I would prefer care in my home, ALL the baby and toddler things, clean, uncluttered and smoke free.
