Many years I've worked with kids medically, in church, swimming and in nurseries. I've worked with them from coming home from the hospital at 2-3 days old and up to junior high and a bit older. Special needs I am used to as long as there is no violence.

Being asked to come back after waiting about 3 months to see if the 6 year old boy would live after a traumatic brain injury that I was not present at the time of injury. My medical skills were put to good use! He is now a beautiful 9 year old with some significant deficits.
