I'm a mother of 2 teenager. Before I have was a babysitter for 10 years before my own kids. I have worked for Camp Moja a camp for special needs children. I'm a little old-fashioned I believe that kids need to get plenty of fresh air and exercise but also make sure that they stimulate their minds and get great grades. I have been Red Cross CPR certified for small children to adults. For the last 6 years I have been in customer service in the food industry. So I'm no stranger to making food and cleaning.

I worked at camp mojo for 2 years for special needs kids as a camp counselor. I was a peer group counselor for my church group for 6 years. I was a school assistant counselor for adolescent teens for 2 years. I have taken care of children for a maximum of 24 years including my own kids for the last 14.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like going on nature walks. Arts and crafts is my absolute favorite. I love board games, movies books and I even love making up stories with my own kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being there for the children. Parents need to be able to trust someone with their own kids who understands and will care for their kids just as much as they care and love their own.

My experience with special needs children...

I've worked with kids with down syndrome. I have dealt with children with slight autism as in OCD and ADHD. I have handled a child with behavioral problems, does not like authority figures.
