I have worked in childcare and education for 10+ years. I became baby sitting at a young age, becoming CPR and First aid certified for the first time at just age 12. I attended the 2 year Teacher's Academy Program at my school district's Career and Technical Center, and graduated High school with 100+ hours in the elementary classroom. From there, I went to Mississippi State University and graduated with a BA in Secondary Education. While in college, I worked at a preschool in town, working with children from 2 months - 5 years old. Majority of my time working there, I was the Infant room teacher and cared for up to 10 babies with my co-lead. After college, I moved back home to the Jackson, MS area to teach 11th grade US History. Since moving to Chattanooga, I have worked as a substitute teacher across Hamilton County, and I am now the permanent substitute at Signal Mountain MHS.
