More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to traditional childcare, I have several years of professional experience supporting children in both home and structured environments. I’ve helped children navigate daily routines, big emotions, social development, and independence skills in ways that feel supportive and respectful. I’m especially experienced in supporting neurodivergent children while also working comfortably with neurotypical kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating playful, meaningful experiences that follow a child’s interests while also supporting healthy development. Some of my favorite activities include imaginative play, building with Legos or blocks, arts and crafts, reading together, outdoor adventures, and age-appropriate learning games that encourage creativity and problem-solving.
I also enjoy incorporating storytelling and favorite kids’ movies into bonding time, using them as natural opportunities to explore emotions, friendships, and confidence-building. Whether we’re building a blanket fort, having a dance break, baking something simple together, or spending time outside, I aim to keep activities engaging, supportive, and fun.
I believe children learn best through play, connection, and feeling safe to be themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny, in my opinion, is building trust. When a child feels safe, understood, and respected, everything else — learning, growth, independence — follows naturally. I believe in being a steady, supportive presence who helps children navigate big emotions, new experiences, and everyday challenges with confidence.
Equally important is maintaining open, honest communication with parents so we’re working as a team. My goal is always to create a positive, consistent environment where children feel secure and families feel supported.

My experience with special needs children...
I have several years of professional experience supporting neurodivergent children, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and emotional regulation challenges. I take a neurodiversity-affirming approach, focusing on understanding each child’s unique strengths, communication style, and needs.
I am comfortable supporting children through big emotions, transitions, sensory sensitivities, and social development in ways that prioritize connection and emotional safety. My experience has given me strong skills in co-regulation, structured but flexible routines, and positive guidance strategies that build confidence and independence.
Above all, I believe every child deserves to feel respected, supported, and valued for who they are.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was building an elaborate blanket fort with a child and turning it into a “movie theater” where we watched their favorite animated film. We talked about the characters’ feelings, laughed at the funny parts, and even acted out scenes afterward. Seeing their imagination light up and knowing they felt safe enough to be silly and creative is something I’ll always treasure.
