Hi, I graduated high school ranked #3 in my class of 2024. I first officially started child care when I was in 9th grade, caring for children ages 9 months to 10 years old. I enjoy trying new things and activities, learning and helping others. Additionally, I received my First Aid & CPR certificates when I first officially started childcare. However, prior to my official start I would often watch my younger cousins or children of a family members friend(s). I have younger siblings as well, ages 2 and 8 whom I love spending time with. I have volunteer experience at the Joint Base Andrews Youth Center, where I spent my summer helping organize learning and fun for the youth. I’ve accumulated a plethora of service learning hours at this center, which also led to to landing some of my babysitting jobs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy indoor activities such as board games, learning games, dance offs, reading books, puzzles, scavenger hunts, science experiments, playing with toys and calming activities such as yoga with children. I am open to any safe indoor activity as well.

Outdoor activities includes but are not limited to playing at the park, water games, flying a kite, nature walks, outdoor painting, sports, gardening, drawing and writing with chalk, and having picnics with children.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs stems from my high school experience of working and playing with the CRI students at my school, to joining the best buddies program. These children had a variety of special needs ranging from physical disabilities, to learning impairments, mental health illnesses, ADHD, ASD, mental health conditions, and speech conditions.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most memorable moments would be playing outside with two kids whom I were watching as we raced up and down outside until it was time for bed, when they were begging their parents to please have me stay longer so they can stay up and spend time with me.
