The most important part about being a nanny...
Coming from the South, we had some crazy weather! One of my favorite moments with one of my kiddos happened during a thunderstorm. The electricity went out and she didn't like the dark. So we set up "camp" in the living room and made a "campfire" with flashlights. We made a dance floor and pretended to have strobe lights, ate smores (though the marshmallows were not toasted) and told each other "anti-spooky" stories.
After the lights came back on, she asked if we could turn them back off and keep our campfire going!
