More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I interned for two full school years. From 2016 to 2019. Grades 5th and 7th respectively. Plus nannied for a family with three children who were 4, 6 and 8 at the time. I’ve also since then nannied one on one for an infant, worked as a co-teacher in the 1 and 2 year old rooms of a daycare and nannied for a family with two young boys, who were ages 9- 22 months old and 2- 3 years old respectively

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m more than happy to do anything the kids want to do, provided it’s safe and it’s parent approved. From Pokémon cards to outdoor hide and seek, I’m in!

The most important part about being a nanny...

It was one of the last warm days before Thanksgiving. With each kid being virtual and in three different grades outside time before lunch was a rare thing. After thinking on it and asking the 6 and 8 year old what they wanted to eat. Myself and their little brother (4) got to work setting up a great back yard picnic while the girls finished school for the day. That picture (taken by mom without us realizing and freely shared with me) of the four of us is still a favorite of mine.
