More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I grew up doing Girl Scouts and I even now I’m still registered as an assistant leader for my aunt in case she needs me when we have a big troop. I’ve worked with kids of all ages doing that, and I also attended girl scout camp for 6 years, the last two being counsiler training so I was trained in basic first aid, different age groups and their attention spans, etc. I’m also the oldest of five kids my self so I have experience from watching my siblings and even cousins.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love drawing and teaching kids to draw. I love doing different crafts with kids. I also enjoy coming up with games for them to play. I also make sure the activity includes all the kids I’m watching so that way no one is left out.

The most important part of being a Nanny is knowing how to connect with the kid you’re working with. Making sure that the child feels seen, heard, and understood.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with a lot of different special needs kids and adults. I was my aunts assistant Girl Scout leader and we have had kids who were special needs and usually I would work one on one with them to make sure they are included in the activities and don’t feel left out. The specific ones I have experience with, is Autism and Epilepsy. I have an aunt who is severely special needs not exactly sure exactly what hers is but she has a multitude of different kinds of severe seizures and is non verbal I have lots of experience dealing with seizures and I Have my BLS Certification (CPR and AED). I don’t have official First Aid training but when I was doing counsiler training in girls out came I was trained on basic First Aid.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A funny moment one day I was watching my older cousins two little girls. They are 5 and 7 years old. The older one looked at me and asked me how old I was (18 at the time due to my birthday being late in the year) I told her my age and her sister said “Wait what?! I thought you were like 14!”
