A little bit about me

I am a homeschooling mother of five. My children are older now (the youngest is 9 and the oldest is 17). I have been a stay-at-home mom since my first child was born, so I have almost two decades of experience raising children. I am comfortable with all ages. For infants, I focus on a balance of rest and appropriate stimulation. For toddlers, I focus on setting appropriate boundaries while providing engaging activities. For school-aged children, I encourage imagination and creativity. My home is stocked with books, puzzles, and STEM toys to engage their curious minds. For teens, I focus on building rapport while also giving them the space they need to figure out who they are.

I am looking for part-time work or babysitting jobs to help me pay for my masters degree in clinical mental health. I am available to do evenings or overnights, your house or mine. I can also do childcare during the day Fri-Sun, at my home in Woodland Park. I can do any age of children, from infants to teens.
