I’m a teacher assistant and Adult support for children with special needs for 1.4 years.
I also worked at Chuck E Cheese as a party host bringing fun and unforgettable experiences to kids and families.
Since I was little I used to take care y babysitting my sisters and cousins and now as an adult I occasionally do babysitting to friend’s kids/babies.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and doing a variety of activities together, especially reading, using their imagination and creativity, and participating in educational and fun activities that support their development. I also enjoy arts and crafts, coloring, playing games, and encouraging children to explore and express themselves. I love helping children learn and discover new things while making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and cared for. Getting to know each child’s unique personality and finding activities they truly enjoy is one of my favorite parts of caregiving.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe in being patient, attentive, and respectful of each child’s needs, while communicating openly with parents to provide consistency and support. Most importantly, children should feel cared for, heard, and valued while having fun and simply being kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I have professional experience working with children with special needs, including children on the autism spectrum and children with developmental and behavioral needs. I have provided one-on-one support with communication, daily routines, transitions, learning activities, sensory needs, and emotional and behavioral regulation. I have also had experience supporting children with different developmental abilities, including children with Down syndrome. These experiences have taught me to be patient, compassionate, flexible, and attentive to each child’s individual needs and communication style.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When they ask me to play with them, to read them a book, I also love watching their imaginations come to life when they play. They can create an entire world in their heads, come up with a shared idea, and somehow understand each other without needing to explain every little detail. I love seeing them work through small disagreements respectfully and then go right back to playing together.
