Hello, my name is Crystal. I’m married, but sadly with no children of my own, although we have been trying. I have looked after children before, mainly those that belonged to other family members, but I love children. My husband and I are Christians and so hold particular values. He is an over the road truck driver, while I’m a housewife, although looking for a way to help him out financially. We do have three dogs (two boxers and a Boston terrier) and a cat, so I’m good around pets also, if you have those as well.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I spent roughly ten years as a live in nanny for one of my cousin’s four children, two boys and two girls.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Singing, board games, video games, walks, crafts, reading, writing, teaching how to garden. I’m open to doing other activities like taking a child to the zoo, a water park, etc, with the parents permission.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure that the child or children under your care are safe, cared for, fed and any other needs are taken care of while their parents are not home. Oh! And the smiles, the laughter. Can’t forget those!

My experience with special needs children...

Mainly that of my little brother who was born with cleft pallet and lip. He was a bit on the slow side when it came to learning things, so it was usually on me and my mom to help him.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Well since the biggest time was with one of my cousin’s children, I would have to say when I took them on outings. The zoo, church, out to eat at Red Robin or some buffet. Those were some great times. Even something small like getting a smoothie or milk shake and having out in the park while they played on the playground equipment.
