Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered at a preschool for about a year. I’ve been babysitting since I was a young child and if I’m being honest I genuinely enjoy it. I understand the responsibility I have over every single child I take care of. Which in my opinion is cleaning, cooking, and keeping them entertained. Above all keeping them safe and happy.

I feel the most important part of being a nanny is the child’s safety, health, and happiness. Along with scheduling ahead of time and proper communication.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with kids with ADHD, Legally blind child along with Autistic kids. I’m quite comfortable with taking care of any child regardless of their disability. The love and care I have for them does not change.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment had to be when I was raising a young girl. I was taking care of her for about 6 month. She was 12 month old. Her mother have tried to get to walk but she just couldn’t. One day out of nowhere I keep putting her little feet to the ground so she can try practicing. I start leaning her against the couch so she can try standing on her own when she turns around and starts walking towards me. Mind you I was in arms reach just in case she fell. But nonetheless that’s my favorite moments I’ve ever experienced. She looks so happy and proud of herself as well.
