Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am Experienced in Early Childhood Education and a Psychology student with a focus on Behavioral Psychology. I was a Preschool Teacher Assistant at a private center in Florida. I am able to care for children all ages. I am passionate about promoting and helping children develop appropriate behaviors, social skills and self regulation strategies.

I love to do fun activities that support the development of Fine and/or Gross Motor skills. These activities are of course, depending on the age group and ability of the child/children. Including:

I am a Registered Behavior Technician. I am able to redirect and care for children with special needs/ or behavioral problems. I am very patient and strict when needed. (I offer care services only).

The most important part about being a nanny...

At work, I saw the same 5 year-old child, who I taught how to tie shoe laces, teaching one of his friends how to tie his shoe laces. It was the cutest thing ever. He probably won’t remember me when he’s older, but I will. The fact that those are everyday life skills that will stay with him for the rest of his life is so incredible. It’s so honorable and rewarding to see the results of my teachings and then boom one day they are teaching somebody else with the same patience and optimism as I did with them. I went home happy that day. :,)
