Teaching Spanish to children is my favorite way to pass the time while nannying. Also doing crafts, playing sports, swimming (teaching how to swim), going on walks, exploring new things and activities together, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
For me the most important part about being a nanny has to do with the impact we as nannies have in the lives of the children we take care of. Not only is it crucial to acknowledge the role we play in their lives, but also making sure we aspire to inspire them to be filled with kindness, respect to others and a joy for life. As nannies, our intentions matter most when taking care of children. Through my previous experiences, I’ve come to understand the importance of being a kind, uplifting influence—someone who supports joy, fosters emotional well-being, and helps children see the world with positivity and confidence.

During my many years of childcare, I am very found of the small moments of growth that can be seen when dedicating oneself in educating children, whether it be in academics or in how they grow to become kind respectful human. Also one of my favorite experiences so far has been traveling with my clients as a travel nanny since traveling is also a great passion of mine. When I visited Honduras and Nicaragua with a lovely family, I had the best time ever with many memorable moments.
