I love spending quality time with children and getting to know their unique personalities and interests. I find that children have the most fun when activities are centered around what they enjoy, so I like to follow their interests while providing a safe and supportive environment.

I am an active person myself, so I enjoy joining in games and encouraging healthy play. I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe environment for children emotionally, physically, and mentally. Children thrive when they feel cared for, understood, supported, and secure. I genuinely care about the well-being of the children I work with and want them to feel valued and comfortable being themselves.

I also believe it is important to be patient, attentive, and adaptable, since every child has a unique personality, interests, and needs. I make it a priority to take the time to understand what helps each child feel happy, confident, and engaged so I can support them in the best way possible.

Finally, I believe being a positive role model is incredibly important. I am very mindful of my words, actions, and attitude because children learn so much from the people around them. I strive to bring kindness, encouragement, positivity, and respect into every interaction so that the children in my care feel supported and empowered to grow.

My favorite nanny moments are when a child begins to feel comfortable around me and starts opening up. It's always rewarding to see them become more confident, expressive, and excited to share their thoughts, interests, and personality. Those moments help me better understand how to care for and support them in a way that makes them feel seen and valued.
