A little bit about me

I am a compassionate, trustworthy, and enthusiastic caregiver with approximately three years of experience working as an infant and toddler teacher, along with five years of experience caring for adults with dementia and other specialized care needs. My background has taught me the importance of patience, safety, understanding, and providing individualized care to meet each person’s unique needs.

As a mother to a seven-year-old child with autism, I also have personal experience understanding the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. If given the opportunity to care for your child, I would treat them with the same love, respect, and attention that I would give my own. My goal is to ensure every child in my care feels safe, supported, valued, and loved while providing parents with peace of mind knowing their little one is in capable and caring hands.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children feel protected, valued, and understood. Building trust with both the children and their families is essential. I believe being a nanny is about more than just providing care; it's about being a dependable, positive influence in a child's life, supporting their growth and development, and making them feel safe enough to express themselves and be who they are. Every child deserves patience, compassion, consistency, and someone who genuinely cares about their well-being. I want every family I work with to have peace of mind knowing their child is in loving and trustworthy hands.

My experience with special needs children...

My own child is special needs autistic

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my happiest and most meaningful moments as a caregiver was caring for a child whose mother was away for work when the child had to receive vaccinations at the doctor’s office. With their mother not there, the child looked to me for comfort, reassurance, and security. In that moment, I realized how meaningful it is to be a safe space for a child, especially when their parent cannot be there. Knowing that the child trusted me enough to turn to me for comfort was incredibly rewarding. Moments like these remind me that childcare is about so much more than meeting a child's basic needs; it's about building trust, creating emotional security, and making every child feel safe, loved, and cared for. Being someone a child can depend on is one of the most fulfilling parts of what I do.
