More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In 5th grade probably through 6th or 7th I would go down to the life skills class room and play or read to the kids. I've always enjoyed that and of course it was optional but since I enjoy it I volunteered to go down to their room every Friday and I'd take them outside to play a little or we'd play games inside or read. Whatever they wanted, I always let the kids choose what they'd like to do.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some indoor activities I enjoy doing with children are, coloring, reading, crafts, learning activities, anything that they'd love to do and that's safe to do inside and appropriate. Outdoor activities I love doing are, going for a walk, blowing bubbles, kicking the ball around, hop scotch, jump rope, and etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me about being a nanny is crating a safe, nurturing environment where kids can thrive and feel loved. I really want to build strong relationships with the children, helping them grown and learn while having fun. It's important to me to be a positive role model, encouraging their creativity and curiosity. I also value open communication with the parents, ensuring that we're all on the same page about their needs and routines. Ultimately, I want to make a positive impact on their lives and help them develop into happy, confident individuals!

My experience with special needs children...

I've cared for different types of special needs children and they're amazing kids! I don't have a problem caring for any child no matter what! I treat them like a any other kid, there's no need to treat them any different just because they have special needs, they're still kids and deserve to be treated as so. All kids should be loved and treated fairly.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a whole bunch of memories with kids and they're all my favorite. I love just getting to connect with them and they get comfortable with me but I never rush that process because I'm a new face to them and that could be scary, but I always have a blast with every kid. I've had dance parties with some kids, I've had some children want my help with making a craft for their parents which is absolutely adorable! I could go on and on about my favorite moments but it would be a long page so here are just a couple that I've recently experienced.
