Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Babysitting, camp counselor for day and overnight camps. In house family living caring for three of my nephews start from when the oldest was born and he is now 11, the second who is 7 and the other is 5.

Going to the park, playing board games/cards. Hiking, going to the pool, playing sports, cooking and doing arts and crafts.

I think being a Nanny means so much. You are a huge part in the child's life and development and something like that should never be taken for granted.
My experience with special needs children...
I used to work/volunteer at a horse barn that worked with special needs children and I was there for about 9 years and within that I took them on trail rides, and worked summer camps with them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I used to babysit/help out a family with their daughter Brawnwin. She was 5 when I started helping out and she was blind. You would never know she was the sweetest. One time I took her our to the barn I worked at and we got on one of the larger vaulting horses and she requested to go on my shoulders and wanted me to do all of these tricks with her. Even though she may not of been able to see she had no fear at all. She told me when we were done that it was the best day of her life and started crying and hugged me saying how she was so glad she met me. That was a highlight moment for sure!
