More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 7 months of professional childcare experience working with children ages 5 months to 6 years old. I worked for 5 months at the childcare center at Fayetteville State University, where I cared for children ranging from 1 to 6 years old. I also spent 2 months working at a home daycare, caring for infants and young children. These experiences have strengthened my skills in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment while supporting each child’s growth and development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

My favorite part of working with children is helping them learn and grow. I enjoy doing educational activities that teach letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and the days of the week in fun and engaging ways. Seeing a child learn something new and build confidence is incredibly rewarding.

I also enjoy planning fun activities like playing with toys, reading books, visiting the park, or taking trips to the library when appropriate. I believe in creating a balance between learning and play so children can develop new skills while having fun in a safe, caring environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is ensuring the safety and well-being of the children at all times. This includes creating a safe environment, being aware of any allergies, medical conditions, or special care instructions, and following the family’s routines and safety guidelines. I also believe it’s important to build a positive relationship with each child by keeping them engaged through play, learning, and fun activities. My goal is for children to feel safe, happy, and excited to spend time with me while giving parents peace of mind that their child is in caring and responsible hands.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with 1 child with special needs, and it was a very rewarding experience. It taught me the importance of patience, understanding, and providing individualized care. I understand that every child learns and develops at their own pace, and I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where each child feels valued and cared for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of being a nanny is spending quality time with children while helping them learn through everyday activities. I enjoy singing songs, reading books, and practicing basic skills like letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and the days of the week in a fun, age-appropriate way. I’m not a tutor, but I love encouraging learning through play and using any educational materials or activities that parents provide. My goal is to create a fun, nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and enjoy themselves.
