Hii I’m Danaysia! Im CURRENTLY looking for a summer job, I go back to school come fall but can be available on breaks. Ive been working with kids on and off for around 6 years; as a nanny, school aid, & summer camp counselor. I have a lot of love for educating young minds & watching them grow, expand & finding passions of their own. My intentions are to connect & engage with your child. Im currently an animal science (pet sitter here!)/ Business administration major & I plan on being an educator! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered at a middle school & helped out specifically student with disabilities / handicapped. definitely one of the best experiences & after some years I still keep in contact with them. The summer camp I worked this summer was primarily kids with learning impairments & behavioral issues as well. As it was initially a challenge, I was very proud of the connection I feel I made with these students, establishing real trust, interest & understanding & cant wait to return next summer!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Truthfully, Im not the biggest fan of throwing a screen in a kids face for 3 hours at a time. I want to know everything about what interests your child! What they’re passionate about, what they’re thinking about. Aside from that, Im a master at arts and crafts, loooove playing sports, & prioritize fun but educational activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety always. No matter how experienced, always being alert aware and on guard is key, you can never be too careful.

My experience with special needs children...

The majority of children Iv worked with have been high and low functioning. From Adhd, Add, to bipolar, behavioral.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Over the summer, It was too hot to do anything crazy outside & it was challenging to keep these kids occupied. We all gathered a bunch of recycled materials and trash outside together, & they all worked for an hour and a half trying to build the biggest, and most perfect pirate ship (they prefered ‘among us ship’) I filled a kiddie pool up and they all were ecstatic. The way they were all cheering when it finally sailed was priceless. After this we had a water gun fight and threw whipped cram pie at eachothers faces. (obviously)
