More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've babysat my brothers and sisters kids while they were at work, not as a job- but frequently enough it couldve been considered one. Ive cleaned, wiped, fed, bathed and kept all 4 entertained for hours at a time. At the ranch i currently live at, there are some staff that trust me enough to hold, feed and change their babies.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love drawing and painting with kids! Any creative activities are my absolute favorites! I like dancing to goofy music (even though I'm not the best at it-) I love writing and singing and playing with toys as well! There may be too many to name... I just love being with kids, from the cartoons they watch to the silly way they think and interact, it's precious.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Respect. Being kind to children and leading them in the right direction is so important! But kids are people too, they need to be treated like such, and not sub-human idiots.

My experience with special needs children...

I've only cared for neurodivergent children, not any physically disabled ones. (Although i'd be happy to learn) My older brother is autistic and has adhd, I've helped him with his homework and chores before. He was my first best friend. At the ranch, there are kids with autism as well that I'm happy to help. I don't get to see them often but I try to accommodate their needs when we're out in loud places, as it could overstimulate them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My neice Delilah was sitting in my lap while we were watching Tom & Jerry. I specifically remember it was the 2007 remake on boomerang when we still had cable, she was drinking a caprisun and actually calm for once. It made me think "maybe having a daughter wouldn't be so bad if we could be together like this" I felt so much love and adoration for that goofball, i was only 9 but I wanted to protect her cuteness with my everything.
