A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Dani. I live in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood with my fiancé! I have been a nanny/sitter for the same family for the last 7 years and cared after their two girls (ages 7 and 9 now) since infancy, whom I absolutely grew to love! I have also cared for their baby cousin in between, and most times all 3 of them (he is now 18 months). I have babysat/nannied for plenty of other families with children of all ages for date nights/on occasion/weekend sitting with children ranging from infant to pre teen ages. The main family that I was with just recently moved away, which is my reason for searching for a new family. I am also super comfortable with and adore pets of all shapes and sizes, if that applies. I truly love bonding with babies and children of all ages and the overall nature of the "job". I like to spend my spare time doing lots of creative activities as well, which I like to incorporate in my nanny/sitter style. I have also spent many years volunteering (mainly at battered women’s shelters in the city) accompanying the children there and helping them socialize and grow through various activities. I truly love giving back where I can! It’s so important that these children grow up in a safe, nurturing, positive environment with people around who genuinely care and can help mold them into awesome individuals. I’m always willing to roll my sleeves up and get the job done, whatever that may be! I am completely comfortable with light house keeping and picking up after your child/children and preparing their food. I am also first aid/CPR trained/certified and speak intermediate/moderate Spanish if you would like to start your child off with learning a new language. I can also provide both personal and professional references with no problem. I believe I can be a great addition to any family and would love to create another close bond with whomever I work with next.
