My experience with special needs children...
When I was 2 my little sister was born with cerebral palsy. She can’t walk or talk and used to eat through a g-tube but has recently gotten a NG tube! Growing up my mom was a single mother so I helped her with pretty much everything! Giving medication, feeding, installing the g-tubes, cleaning them, meal prep, and overall just knowing how to be careful with such a fragile child!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment has to be when the holidays come around and I was able to surprise some of the kids I’d babysit for with their favorite things :)
