Hi! My name is Daniella, call me Dani for short. I’ve been caring for kids of all ages for quite some time now. From quick school pick ups to taking to doctor’s appointments to simply babysitting I’ve done it all. I have lots of nieces and nephews I’ve cared for so the age range I’ve cared for is broad. I’m bilingual and fluent in both Spanish and English. A child at heart, I can sit around and play or watch Bluey all day (while taking care of things in between episodes☺️) I go to church Sunday mornings and finish the day watching football. Big on hockey as well. But enough of the randomness, for your kid (s) I can be the extra set of hands you need worry free because I make safety a top priority and their care the most important. They say it takes a village and it does because kids can be a handful, but I’m here to help!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve worked with children at my church. I was a Sunday school teacher for kids ages 7-11 and a while ago for kids aged 4-6 with teacher assistant.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, going to story time at the library, children’s museums, the zoo or aquarium! Anything that’s not TV related because I strongly believe little to no screen time is much better to keep the kiddos focused on other things and enjoy doing by other activities. I’m not against it if it works for your kids, I just really try hard to find other ways to keep them busy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being able to be helpful to the parents. It’s hard work and can be challenging when they’re going through phases and juggling that and work can be tough, but also it’s important to really get to know the kid (s) and understand their needs to make the hard days a little easier. Communicating with kids at their level is key to building strong relationships and understanding.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It was a babysitting moment where I brought my kiddos some ceramic figures to paint together and the kids lit up and where so thankful to and excited to paint! Then we played hide and seek for a very long time but the kiddos loved it.
