I have been caring for children since a very young age; I have four younger siblings (ages 8, 8, 11, and 13) and have been their primary caregiver for the majority of their lives up until I began college. Besides that, I have nannied for 8+ additional families throughout the past few years, and it has been so enjoyable. I consider all of the families I have worked for as lifelong friends and am so grateful I had these opportunities!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am willing to do anything that interests the children, from arts and crafts to some outdoor play. I love being outside and getting active, but I also believe it is important to incorporate some more relaxed activities. I think it is important to be creative and do activities that they enjoy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important component of being a nanny is to be both personal and engaging with the children. Communication and the ability to form trusting relationships is something I value very highly, and I strive to make the experience enjoyable while also ensuring ease to the parents!
