Currently am a teacher. I mostly teach kids. I also help out my twin sister with her kids. She has a daughter who is five and a son who is two years old.

I love going to parks, the beach, walking, reading, hikes (if the kids are older), ice cream while walking in the boardwalk in Laguna Beach, and playing whatever creative games we come up with.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important thing about being a nanny is being very present and aware in each moment. Being very patient with children is a must as it is with teaching children. I also believe that being very sensitive and understanding of the child's needs is another important part of being a nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
I have taught autistic and ADHD kids. When I was younger, I did babysit a young one with ADHD. When I teach students with special needs, I notice that they are very sensory sensitive. So one has to be mindful of that when interacting with the special-needs child. Also since I teach students with special needs, it's a little different then caregiving, but they do need lots of breaks when I teach them.
