I have worked in daycares as an assistant teacher and I was head teacher of the infant room. I’m always babysitting for friends and family as well. I have also nannied for two different families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts/crafts. Nature walks. Playgrounds. Playgroups around the area they live or some schools do after school activities that involve families as well. Reading lots of books. Games (some just for fun and others for learning). Zoo etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being loving and caring. Helping them grow as people with parents. It’s a whole big unit to make sure those kids are happy, healthy and thriving. It’s not just a job it’s being apart of a family and the relationship that we have with the children should always be trusting and open dialogue. Life can be very crazy and it truly takes a village to raise children!
