Being respectful, kind and loving. Being consistent with being a good example. Children learn by example. Good communication with children and their parents is the key to having a healthy relationship with families.

My sister had Downs Syndrome so I grew up around her friends who had various disabilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The list is long…..Helping children master independence is rewarding to me. Seeing children I’ve worked with learn how to tie their shoes, accomplish getting dressed independently, write their name, things of that nature. My favorite moments are seeing children be proud of themselves for becoming independent.
