"Danielle was my childcare provider in AZ for my then 2 year old son. She is kind, honest, and compassionate. She taught my son so much. His vocabulary exploded with him. She even helped us with potty training! She also taught me how to set and hold safe and loving boundaries for him. I wish she was still in AZ because I trust her completely."

"I wholeheartedly recommend Danielle as a childcare provider. She has cared for my children in both in-home daycare and babysitting settings, and I can confidently say that she is a truly exceptional caregiver. Danielle brings a rare combination of warmth, professionalism, and empathy to her work. She is deeply caring and consistently creates a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where my children have truly thrived. From the very beginning, Danielle set clear and respectful boundaries, fostering not only a strong sense of security but also promoting positive behavioral growth and emotional development. My children formed a genuine bond with Danielle and experienced significant growth—socially, emotionally, and cognitively—while in her care. Danielle also supported me as a parent. She provided thoughtful insights, shared helpful strategies, and always approached our communication with empathy and respect. Her partnership was invaluable, and I always felt heard and supported."

"Danielle was an absolute treasure to have as a caregiver for our two young children (3 years old and infant 3 months - 10months). Our three-year-old who struggles with a bit of separation anxiety and difficulty with people outside of circle and larger groups did wonderful with Danielle. From the beginning Danielle was incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive. Danielle cultivated a nurturing and fun environment for our children. She engaged them with thoughtful play while always keeping their needs front and center. We were heartbroken when she moved, as we would have loved to keep her as our nanny long-term. Any family would be lucky to have her care for their children."

"Danielle is the best!! She truly loved our daughter as her own! She started working with us when my daughter was just 5 months. She made us feel confident and at ease leaving our infant for the first time. She worked with her on crawling, walking and talking. Our daughter hated being picked up in the afternoon because she just wanted to stay with Miss Danielle!"

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I began my childcare career babysitting and nannying, which ignited my passion for nurturing young minds. This led me to a Montessori school, where I started as a floater across classrooms for infants to five-year-olds, gaining diverse experience with every developmental stage. I quickly advanced to lead teacher of the one-year-old classroom, deepening my expertise in Montessori methods and child-centered care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in activities they adore, as my goal is to meet each child where they are. This means immersing myself in their world, interests, and imagination whenever possible. Building trust with a child is the first step, unlocking the joy of shared experiences. Whether it’s constructing towering Magna-Tile castles, exploring outdoors to collect treasures, or quietly reading a favorite book, if it sparks joy in a child, I’m all in for that activity!

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a nanny, my top priority is keeping children safe, a principle I upheld in my schools and classrooms. While education, fun, and activities are vital, safety always comes first. Parents entrust me with their most precious treasures—their children—expecting them to return as they were, perhaps with a bit of dirt and tired eyes. Building trust is my next focus, followed by fostering joy, learning, and a memorable childhood through engaging experiences.

My experience with special needs children...

Although I lack formal training in special needs care, I have extensive experience supporting children with unique needs. I cared for a girl who had undergone two open-heart surgeries, with oxygen levels at 70% on good days. Collaborating closely with her parents, I ensured her safety and health while enabling her to enjoy activities alongside her peers. Similarly, I worked with a lively boy with hemophilia, promptly reporting every scratch or minor injury to his parents to devise the best care plan, balancing caution with his joyful, active nature to avoid unnecessary concern. I’ve also partnered with parents to secure autism diagnoses for their children, meeting autistic children where they are and working with families to adapt routines and environments to their needs, ensuring inclusion in group settings despite differing norms.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had the joy of teaching a three-year-old boy to dress himself, a task that initially frustrated him daily. Despite his urge to give up, he wanted to master it independently. Over weeks, I offered encouragement, hugs, and excitement for his progress, celebrating each small step. The pride on his face when he finally buttoned his shorts and found the right arm and head holes in his shirt made every moment worthwhile. Now, he eagerly selects his outfit each evening for the next day and dresses himself with confidence before leaving his room. Knowing he’ll carry this skill for life—and may one day share the same patience and encouragement with his own children—brings me immense satisfaction.

I'm a nurturer at heart, with a profound passion for advancing children's growth and development. As a childcare provider, I strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive and make the most of their early years. With two years of experience, I'm comfortable caring for up to two children, ranging from children to preteens (1-11 years old).

I believe that open and honest communication is key, which is why I make sure to keep parents updated about their child's day, either through verbal communication at pickup or regular text or phone call updates. I'm also more than happy to follow the parents' preferred communication method.

My calm and patient nature, coupled with my creativity and imagination, allows me to connect with children effortlessly.
