I babysat for two girls and one boy while at a school event while still looking out for other kids that attended, where we helped the children explore different variations of arts and crafts along with of course some play time.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy a lot of arts and crafts activities where I am able to get creative with the kids along with taking time to help them learn new stuff since they are prone to retaining new information everyday. I also very much enjoy spending time outside with children while it be just for walks, to play, or to just take in some sun. I also really enjoy helping children with their homework; each child learns and obtains educational material differently and finding out just which healthy habits/way they will retain that information is what I find interesting/enjoyable.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is the ability to create a safe place for children where they feel safe enough to really strive to be authentically themselves, but most importantly also be a friend to them. I believe it’s important to be someone they can rely/lean on and around someone they feel safe and taken care of.
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have quite an experience with special needs children, but i have babysat for my nephew who has autism and have experience with the needs that come with that. I understand that they react differently when it comes to just about everything surrounding them but mostly understand that they are just like anyone else.
